Troubleshooting Access & Display Issues
Before contacting support, please follow the troubleshooting steps below. They resolve most access and display issues.
Step 1 — Refresh your screen
Reload the page to pick up the latest version of Horizon:
- Windows / Linux: Press Ctrl + R (or Ctrl + Shift + R for a hard refresh).
- Mac: Press Cmd + R (or Cmd + Shift + R for a hard refresh).
If the issue persists after refreshing, continue to Step 2.
Step 2 — Try in an Incognito / Private window
Open a new private browsing window and load Horizon again:
- Chrome: Click the three dots (top right) → New Incognito Window
- Other browsers: Look for a similar "Private" or "InPrivate" option in the browser menu.
What this means:
- If the issue goes away in incognito, it is most likely related to cached data — continue to Step 3.
- If the issue persists in incognito, contact support and mention that you've already tested in private mode.
Step 3 — Clear your browser cache
Open your browser settings, navigate to Privacy & Security, and clear cached images and files. Then reload Horizon.
Why this happens
Horizon platform updates deploy frequently. Browsers sometimes hold on to older versions of the system, which can make pages look or behave incorrectly until the cache is refreshed.
